The Sevens Stadium is a world-class rugby facility famously known as the home of Dubai’s most-loved sporting event; Emirates Dubai 7s.

The Sevens Stadium is also host to the HSBC’s Mini & Youth Rugby Festival – consisting of over 240 teams taking part in this growing international Mini & Youth rugby tournament every January

The Sevens Stadium is home to two of the UAE’s largest clubs where over 2,500 players use the stadium facilities every week during the playing season:

Dubai Exiles – 

Established in 1966, Dubai Exiles Rugby Club is the oldest and most successful Rugby Club in the UAE.

If you’re in the UAE and would like to pursue your enjoyment of playing rugby or netball at world class facilities, with international standard coaching, you’d be more than welcome to join us here at the world famous Sevens Stadium in Dubai.

Our rugby section offers participation for all levels and all age groups, mini, midi, youth and senior rugby for boys, girls and veterans. Our men’s senior rugby side plays in the West Asia Premiership and the UAE Rugby Premiership. We also have a men’s team that competes in UAE Division 1.

Whatever your age or ability, you’ll receive a warm welcome and make some new friends here at the Dubai Exiles.

Dubai Hurricanes – 

A not-for-profit organisation operating under Community Development Authority who provide rugby, netball and cricket for players from the tender age of 3 to over 50 years.

• Rugby: We have a senior section comprising of Men, Women and Veterans’ squads and a thriving Mini & Youth section providing rugby for both girls and boys aged U4 to U19 years; This is supported by our own sports Academy and annual rugby tours to both southern and northern hemisphere countries.
• Netball: Our netball section was established in 2016 and has grown rapidly following our success in the Gulf Ladies Cup at the Dubai 7s and members of our Youth section being selected for the UAE squad. It provides a family atmosphere for all levels of experience where girls from U5 can start and develop through both competition and academy to a high, quality standard of netball.
• Cricket: The newest section our our club, established at the end of the 2020-21 season, but already fielding an adult team in the Dubai leagues and inaugural Dubai 7s competition. Set-up to compliment (and not clash timing-wise with) rugby or netball, our cricket section provides the opportunity for competitive cricketers to truly be part of a club..

The rugby pitches at The Sevens Stadium are also a training base for all UAE national rugby team. .
