Previous seasons have seen The Sevens Stadium host a number of leading English county teams, Pakistani Super League teams, IPL training camps and ICC T20 World Cup preparation camps. The Sevens Stadium is also one of the venues that Dubai Cricket Council and the Emirates Cricket Board uses for competitions and tournaments that they manage.

The Legends Academy Dubai - based at the Sevens Stadium, is a premier training hub that develops aspiring cricketers through elite coaching, sports science, and world-class facilities. The Academy offers cricket development pathways for all ages and abilities and is committed to unlocking every cricketer’s potential with the platform to grow technically, tactically, physically, and mentally preparing them for success at both domestic and international levels.
Young players start at age 4 with the U10 Development Programme, building foundations and life skills, before progressing through the Intermediate Programmes (10–14 and 14–18), which develop T20 skills, game management, strength and conditioning, and self-reliance, with pathways to representative teams. The U11–U18 Girls Development Programme provides a similar pathway for female cricketers. Older players can advance through the Youth and Professional Pathway (18–23), a high-performance programme with accredited coaches, personalised development plans, and sports science support, alongside personalised training tailored to individual goals.
Guided by world-class coaches Dougie Brown, Graeme Cremer, and Nick Tester, players can immerse themselves in training designed to sharpen skills, enhance game understanding, boost fitness, and develop the winning mindset needed to succeed.
And for players of all ages, holiday camps and events deliver fun, engaging, and skill-building sessions during school breaks, fostering confidence, teamwork, and a lasting love for the game.

Dubai Super League – hosting on average seven games per weekend during the season at The Sevens Stadium, DSL has had the biggest impact on Dubai semi-professional cricket in the last few years with its breakthrough ideas and radical implementations. The league is managed by Wombats Cricket Club.
Dubai Friendly Cricket League – The Friendly Cricket League is an exciting joint initiative between private clubs and corporate teams in the UAE. Certified umpires along with quality equipment, ensures that this league continues to be one of the top cricket leagues in the region. The Friendly Cricket League runs throughout the year, with multiple tournaments operating both during the day and under lights. The league is managed by a number of teams including Rowdy XI.
League of Mammoths & Saturday Silly Sloggers - Dubai Mammoths is a Dubai Cricket Council Approved Club consisting of both veterans & amateur cricketers.
League of Mammoths is played between four teams in a triple round robin, ensuring games almost every Friday between teams such as Jumeirah Mammoths, Zabeel Mammoths, Shindhga Mammoths & Nad AL Sheba Mammoths.
Saturday Silly Sloggers is a additional Amateur/Veterans League played on Saturday's with 3 Teams playing a double round robin.
