RETURN TO SPORTS - PLAY SAFE!

In line with government authorities our ground staff team have been busy renovating all sports pitches and cricket ovals to ensure your return to sports will be on the best surfaces in the UAE.
We have also been working hard behind the scenes to ensure your return to play is a safe and enjoyable experience. All guests are required to follow local regulations and best practices at the venue with a strong focus on;
• Social Distancing (2 metres)
• Hygiene – regularly wash and sanitise your hands
• Wearing masks (at all times, except while exercising or when seated in our food & beverage establishments) 

VENUE GUIDELINES

• Contactless temperature checks will be mandatory to enter the venue. If any person’s temperature exceeds 38.0 degrees they will be required to conduct a second test in isolation. If both tests return a high reading the individual will not be allowed entry into the venue. Temperature checks will be taken at;
- Main Entrance from the Players Club car park (on Friday’s the Pitch 6 entry point will also be controlled with temperature checks)
- Cricket Pitches main entrance
• Mask are to be worn at all times, except when participating in a strenuous activity as per authorities guidelines
• 60 minute bookings are currently only allowed to take place
• Hand sanitisation stations will be located around the facilities and pitches/courts/ovals
• Cashless payment is preferred and encouraged
• Social distancing at all times (minimum 2 metres)
• Toilets are open and cleaned/sanitised regularly
• Change rooms are closed (but can be opened on request prior to your booking)
• Social distanced seating will be provided near the booked facilities
• Participants and coaches are only permitted inside the playing field
• Where possible only one parent should be on site and spectators are discouraged
• The Sevens Stadium have implemented a sanitization procedure which will take place after every session

HIRER & PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES

All hirers must consult and gain permission from the sport’s governing body, Dubai Sports Council and/or any other relevant government authorities before they are allowed to return to play.

• Follow the set guidelines by the sport’s governing body or the Dubai Sports Council
• Carry hand sanitizer to use before and after session
• Avoid unnecessary physical contact
• Avoid handshakes, high fives and hugging
• Masks may be lowered during strenuous activity only
• Maintain social distancing (2 metres) at all times
• Bring your own water bottle and towel (do not share)
• Follow instructions from venue staff and security
• Follow any venue signage for specific entry, exit and walkways
• Bring your own equipment and ensure a sanitization plan is in place after each session
• Do not attend the venue if you’re feeling unwell or have been in contact with someone who is unwell

FOOD & BEVERAGE OPTIONS

Sideliners, Costa and the Hurricanes Lounge in the Players Club (Level 1)
• Will be open and following all government guidelines for food and drinks service
- All guests are to follow the entry/exit points and foot flow signs inside the venue
- Social distancing queues will be clearly marked for guests
• Please note the capacity has been reduced to meet relevant guidelines

Exiles Clubhouse
• All entry to the Exiles Clubhouse will be from the main stairs to the left of the Players Club Shop
• To exit the Exiles Clubhouse guests will need to use the internal staircase (no exit from the outdoor staircase)

Cricket Snack Bar
• Will be open as usual and will follow all government guidelines for food and drink service
