DUBAI TO HOST FINAL QUALIFIER FOR MEN’S RUGBY WORLD CUP 2027 IN NOVEMBER
The Final Qualification Tournament for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 will take place here at The Sevens Stadium, Dubai, from 8th to 18th November 2025.
Four nations will compete in a round-robin format across three match days, with the top team securing the 24th and final spot at Rugby World Cup 2027 in Australia. Belgium is the first side confirmed, with three more teams to join from regional competitions in Africa, South America, Asia and the Pacific.
For the first time in Rugby World Cup history, the men’s pool draw will take place with all teams confirmed. Scheduled for December 2025, the draw will be based on the World Rugby Men’s Rankings at the end of the November international window.
Rugby World Cup 2027 will mark a historic expansion, featuring 24 teams, a new round of 16 and 52 matches - making it the most inclusive edition to date.
The tournament promises to be a defining moment in international rugby, with Dubai once again at the heart of the game’s global stage.
